....so I ended up with an Xbox One lol
After one of my many attempts a couple of weeks ago to win a Retron 5 auction on ebay failed I ended up just bidding quickly on an Xbox One, thinking that nothing would come of it. Of course I ended up winning that auction so I now have an Xbox One.
I was planning on getting one in November for the Masterchief Collection anyway so im not too bothered but its kind of typical me really.
The Xbox One itself though I am kind of hating. Ugly metro screens, loading between the dash and games lists, many issues with installs and updates pausing all the time so I have to disconnect from the Internet completely to finish one before it can start the other. Thankfully though I bought it as an exclusive machine, like my Wii U, so it should be ok when the games I want come out.
I bought it with Ryse and Dead Rising 3. Completed Ryse last week and it was surprisingly not a bad game. Maybe could have used a bit more to it outside of the combat but the story was ok, the combat was fun enough and it had some nice moments in it which were heightened with some good music.
Dead Rising 3 I have only just started so cant say too much. It hasnt pulled me in as much as Ryse did though. I started it early last week and have maybe put it back on once more since then.
