Avoiding spoilers in case you get the game (Nightfall) you need to kill one of the storyline's major characters. She's not that tough on her own but the area you fight in is quite small and with enemy patrols (in the second stage of the fight) it can be difficult to manage aggro.

Just did today's Zaishen mission (final mission in Prophecies). We went in with three healers (two is normally enough), two tanks (one is enough!), protector (me), that left just two damage-dealers. Took bloody ages to finish the mission. The group leader should have picked a better mix of players. I CAN'T WORK WITH THESE AMATEURS!

Been trying out a Warrior build for a farm I used to do on my Elementalist (before Arena Net nerfed a key skill in that build, stopping it from working) that's been popular for years but I've never actually tried myself. Kind of weird having spent so much time in the game and be doing something new (to me).
It'll be very useful for farming festival items when there's an event on - the ninth year birthday celebrations in April will be the next I think - because it's a very fast farm, much faster than the old Ele version. Don't know why I wasn't doing it years ago!

I'm getting pretty good at the farm I mentioned above. I can do it in less than a minute now. The drops aren't great though. A chest sometimes spawns where the farm takes place and the items I'm getting from that are mostly rubbish too. Oh well!

Not exactly. Most of the updates since last May have been to make the game self automating for the "coming years", so I think they intend to keep the servers running for a good while yet.

Just bought a white rabbit minipet from another player. I was expecting to have to pay anything from 50 - 100k gold but when I put up the WTB message I got bombarded with offers, the cheapest being 30k. I'm pleased with that.  |
