Anyone got any thoughts or predictions on what we could see tonight then? I would hope after their investors meeting a few weeks ago we could maybe get some announcements but who knows, it'll probably just be new footage of stuff we already know is coming.

Lately with Nintendo even the stuff people consider good doesn't really do it for me... so they could hit all the right buttons but I probably still won't be interested. I've no interest in Donkey Kong or Yoshi's New Island and Hyrule Warriors looks like garbage. Currently it's only Smash Bros and MarioKart that I am looking forward to and all I want to hear about for those titles is the online system.
IF they announce a new F-Zero, Metroid or Starfox game I will be interested. If we see anything about the new main Zelda title I'll be happy. I'd like to see SOMETHING of that at least. Although I remember they showed Twilight Princess really early on (like 2 years before release?) and the final game ended up having none/barely any of the images we'd seen in the final game.

My predictions: - Clarifications on Nintendo's upcoming strategy.
- Trailers for already-announced games (Donkey Kong, Bayonetta, Mario Kart, X).
- Announcing that the Sonic Lost World Zelda DLC will be available tomorrow.
- Diddy & Dixie Kong announced for Smash Bros.
- The announcement of a few eShop games designed with the GamePad in mind.

Yeah at the moment the only games I can remember that I'm interested in are Smash Bros and X. Hopefully there will be something new today but I wonder if they'll be keeping back reveals of new games until E3?

I think this is a good call. They said they wanted to address the Gamepad's "issues" by Fall/Autumn this year and realistically they aren't going to do that with full retail games in such a short space of time.

You know I'm surprised that Nintendo don't have a Nintendo Direct app on the Wii U which would notify owners when a Direct it coming up and allow them to watch the stream on their console.

- Yet another Smash character I care nothing about. - A load of 3DS games I'm simply not interested in. - A rather cool-looking little football game (I don't like football, but it looks good). - The X trailer pointed out that I probably won't like the game (due to the combat system) - Seeing all those Koopa character just puts me off Mario Kart 8. I'm getting a horrible feeling it will be a lot like MK Wii (which I hated). - Bayonetta looks decent, but it's a "rent or wait until cheap" kind of game (unless this one is a lot better than the first).

That trailer did make MarioKart look like the Wii version (hate bikes so much) but maybe that's what they were going for with the trailer, to try and entice people who bought MarioKart Wii to get this new one for Wii U. That steel diver game actually looked alright, if only because some bits of it were reminiscent of lylat wars Nintendo pocket football club actually looked good but I don't know if I'd get it.

Oh yeah I thought you knew that.
I think I'm just gonna leave all my hope for the Wii U now on E3. If they can come back and do an actual conference where games get announced then I'll be happy.

GBA games on Virtual Console!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh wait on Wii U. FUCK YOU NINTENDO! Such a kick in the nuts to 3DS owners, both ambassadors who have patiently waited for my GBA game to appear and newer owners who are probably wondering why they aren't on there. The cynic in me can't help but feel that Nintendo are doing this deliberately to entice people on to the Wii U, when the 3DS is the obvious platform for these games. Well I'd rather go to second stores and rebuild my GBA collection that way than give Nintendo more money at this point.
