Yeah just post stuff you think I might be interested in that's happened in England that I may have otherwise missed! Also be a good place for me to chat about it with as I don't have many chances to talk about home here in a context that isn't like "OMG you're English have you met the Queen?" Believe me it happens more than you'd think...

Yeah its not that bad here but we did get the strong winds rip the washing line from the wall this weekend. My Dad lives down south and has managed to avoid the flooding but his fence was destroyed by the wind as well.

The south is flooded, Wales/West had it's coastline torn apart a few weeks ago.
Every teacher in the country hates Michael Gove.

Remember being a teaching conference about some of the changes he made with ring fencing funds for special needs education it was laughable how they tried to spin it as a positive. The college I taught at is really struggling as a result. |

So are we supposed to be done with the storms now? I thought I remembered hearing that it was just supposed to be a lull before the next lot came in but I haven't seen any reports or forecasts since then talking about heavy rain or winds.
