Also you can capitalise your display name, for some reason it makes it a small letter after registering so just go back into your profile settings to edit it back if needed. Mine was driving me nuts!  |

Not to be rude but what is the plan with this forum? A N-E "lite" where we have the same-ish topics (including some they might've found unsavoury) but with fewer members?

The forum was created because of frustration with NE. I cant speak for any other members but I'm not planning on going back there so the same topics arent going to bother me.
Still though, we arent asking people to abandon NE for here so I'm sure there will be a lot of the same conversations going on, theres not really a lot we can do about that I guess. I would like to try and get more multiplayer stuff happening though later on. I loved the Minecraft server we had on NE when everyone first found that game and would like to get more stuff happening online together again.

Basically we want to be able to have the same conversations without having an entire legion of unsavoury characters rounding up for blood everytime they aren't happy with what's being written. This may end up happening as the forums evolve we may end up with situations but at least then one would hope we are able to actually enforce our own moderation polices and ensure this place doesn't become a cesspit. |

I dont really want to drag all that stuff over to here. There were just issues that some of us had with the place for a while and a change was needed.

Basically certain members of NE are choads. We can't be arsed with them anymore, so since there's nowhere else we really want to go, we started our own forum to just chat with the people we do like.
We know this place is never going to be huge, but it'd be nice if we get enough people to have semi decent conversations.

Yeah EEVIL Basically to build on what goafer said... Basically certain members of NE are choads. We can't be arsed with them anymore, so since there's nowhere else we really want to go, we started our own forum to just chat with the people we do like. We know this place is never going to be huge, but it'd be nice if we get enough people to have semi decent conversations. We've been having decent videogames talk in a facebook conversation titled "Extra Life" for like 3 years now and it's nice to be able to take those chats and build on them in a more structured manner. We have good times in there and unfortunately that experience isn't replicated in NE anymore! |
