After watching X-Men: First Class again I've been meaning to ask, how close is it to the comics? More specifically.. Were Xavier and Mistique really childhood best friends, is the stuff regarding Magneto and Shaw true to the comics, and is that how Xavier lost the use of his legs? The stuff with Shaw isn't in the comics. Xavier and Magneto were friends when they were younger and they did want to help mutants but Magneto left and took the darker route. I don't remember what took the use of his legs but in the main comics I don't think it was Magneto. |

Was Mistique good originally? No not really. She is Nightcrawler's mother and Rogue's step mother but has mostly been evil. |

So tempted at the moment to start buying trades again. Keep putting a load in online baskets but then changing my mind as I go to pay for them. Im still reading comics all the time but its rare that I will actually buy the collections anymore. They were taking up too much room but digital copies just arent the same  |

Its typical that the Book Depository decided to send my trades out separately instead of one delivery and of course the first one they send out isn't one of the Volume Ones.
